Terms and Conditions
Terms and Conditions
These terms cover your use of the Home Care Business Insurance website. The most important point is the simplest one: this site provides information and accepts quote requests, and nothing on it creates insurance coverage.
The short version
Last updated: September 10, 2026
These terms are written in plain language and are general rather than tailored to the law of any one state. Review them against the rules that apply where you operate, and contact us at homecareins@wagleyagency.com with any question about them.
- This website gives general information about insurance for home care businesses.
- Nothing here is an offer of coverage, and no quote binds an insurer.
- Coverage begins only when a carrier issues a policy and the premium is paid.
- The content is informational and is not legal, tax, or financial advice.
- The site and its content belong to us. Use it for your own business purposes, not to republish.
Accepting these terms
By using this website, requesting a quote, or otherwise communicating with us through this site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
If you are using this site for a business, which is who it is built for, you are agreeing to these terms on that business's behalf and confirming you are authorized to do so.
This website is operated by Home Care Business Insurance, a brand of Wagley Agency Insurance Group. References to we, us, or our mean that agency.
What this site is, and what it is not
We are an insurance brokerage. We work for you rather than for a single insurer, and our role is to understand your operation, approach the carriers that write home care, and assemble a program that fits. You can read more about the agency on our about page.
The website itself does something narrower. It publishes guidance about coverage, industries, and state rules, and it accepts requests for a quote. That distinction matters, so these points are worth being exact about:
- This site is not an insurer. We do not underwrite risk and we do not issue policies. Insurance is issued by licensed carriers.
- Nothing on this site is an offer of coverage. Pages describing a coverage explain what that coverage generally does. They are not a promise that it is available to you, or on any particular terms.
- Submitting the quote form does not obtain coverage. It starts a conversation with a broker. Nothing is in force because you filled in a form, and nothing is in force because we replied to it.
- Only a policy creates coverage. You are covered when a carrier issues a policy to you and the premium is paid, on the terms written in that policy, and not before.
If you need coverage in place by a specific date, tell us. Do not assume a submission or a conversation has put anything in force.
About quotes and estimates
Any quote, indication, estimate, or figure we provide through this site or in follow-up is subject to carrier underwriting and to verification of the information the quote was based on.
- A quote is based on what you told us. If the details of your operation differ from what was submitted, the terms can change or the offer can be withdrawn.
- Carriers apply their own underwriting rules. A carrier can decline a risk, apply conditions or exclusions, or require additional information before it will offer terms.
- Quotes are time-limited. Terms available at one point may not be available later.
- The actual scope of coverage, its limits, its exclusions, and its conditions are set by the issued policy. Where anything on this site differs from a policy, the policy controls.
Read your policy when you receive it. If something in it does not match what you expected, contact us and we will work through it with you.
The content here is information, not advice
The coverage explanations, state guides, and resource articles on this site are written and reviewed by a licensed insurance broker, and we work to keep them accurate and current. They are still general information published for a wide audience.
They are not legal advice, tax advice, or financial advice, and they are not a substitute for advice about your specific agency from a professional who knows your situation. Insurance requirements, licensing rules, and statutes change, and they differ from one state to the next. Before you rely on something you read here for a decision that matters, confirm it applies to you, or ask us.
Nothing on this site creates a broker-client relationship on its own. That relationship begins when we agree to act for you.
Using this site
What belongs to us
The content of this site, including the text, page structure, graphics, and layout, belongs to Wagley Agency Insurance Group or is used with permission, and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Our names, brands, and logos belong to us and may not be used without written permission.

Acceptable use
When using this site, please do not:
- Submit information that is false, or submit a request on someone else's behalf without their authorization
- Attempt to gain access to parts of the site or its systems that are not public
- Interfere with the site's operation, including through automated submissions, scraping, or attempts to defeat the form's spam protection

We may limit or refuse access to the site if it is being used in these ways.
Links to other sites
We link to outside resources, such as state regulators and industry associations, when they are useful. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their practices. A link is a pointer, not an endorsement, and once you follow it you are subject to that site's own terms and privacy policy.
Availability, disclaimers, and liability
We work to keep this site accurate and available, but we provide it as it is. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that every piece of information on it is complete and current at the moment you read it. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from your use of this website, including lost profits or lost business, even where we were told such losses were possible. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing here limits or affects the obligations we owe you under an insurance policy we placed or under a service agreement between us. Those are governed by their own documents, not by the terms of this website.
Some states do not allow certain disclaimers or limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Privacy, governing law, and changes
Privacy
Our privacy policy explains what we collect through the quote form, what we do with it, and who processes it. It forms part of these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which Wagley Agency Insurance Group is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and any dispute relating to this website will be brought in the courts of that state. Insurance transactions are separately subject to the insurance laws of the state where the coverage is written, which are not displaced by this section.
General
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. Our not enforcing a term on one occasion does not waive it. These terms, together with the privacy policy, are the whole of the agreement between us regarding this website.
Changes
We may update these terms as the site or our practices change. The current version always appears on this page with the date it was last revised, and it applies from the moment it is posted. Please check back from time to time.
